Thanks for this. According to his write-up in the Biographical Review of Hancock County, yes, the company was called the Gardner Machine and Gun Company. I have not been able to find another source that actually names his company. Historical Perspective (talk) 22:16, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
