I did a Google search and found many definitions/references that Olympianism as the worship of the Gods of Olympus. As such it was not only the religion of ancient Greece but also of the Hellenistic Greek Empire and ancient Rome. Mike C 3 Feb 2011

I did a Google search and found more evidence for Olympianism as a secular political perspective than as a religion. I found absolutely no references explaining any difference between Olympianism and other forms of Hellenic polytheism. In fact, pretty much all the references to Olympianism as a modern religious practice were Wikipedia/Wiktionary mirrors. (The information that was added to this page is already at Wiktionary.) I don't see where enough material for an article on Olympianism, specifically, could possibly come from. If there is a reliable source for the claim that Olympianism is different from other forms of Hellenic polytheism in some way, that information can be added to the main Hellenic polytheism article. - AdelaMae (talk - contribs) 20:18, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
