A start

Oma needed her own page, so I had to let something be written. Kashami 01:10, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not an Ancient

[edit]

Does anybody have a reference that unequivocally states that Oma De Sala is, and or was, an Ancient? While we know that Oma De Sala is ascended there has been nothing to say that she was an Ancient. Implying that all ascended beings, or at least the majority of them, are Ancients is an speculation that's been corrected a few times on the show.GreatMizuti 13:56, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added a paragraph saying it was unclear if she was Ancient or not, and a quote to back it up. If anybody can expand on that or contradict it, please do. Richard Jackson 22:04, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think they retconned in that he was lying. Orlin would have known that The Others are always watching when he said that he didn't know where they were.GreatMizuti 08:10, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can you remember where you heard that? It would really help to get some clarity on this issue. Bear in mind I've not seen season 9, but I know Orlin shows up again, maybe there's more in that episode. Richard Jackson 13:33, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sam asked Orlin in Ascension if he knew where the Others of his kind were, he said he didn't know, he'd have known for certain that they're always watching because he knew for certain that they'd know if the weapon was activated, when, in truth, he probably knew they'd have acted if the weapon was activated.GreatMizuti 05:44, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oma deffinatly is an ancient. I seem to remember from 'Threads' her saying something about it. And if she wasn't an ancient, the other ancients wouldn't be able to stop/punish her from ascending others. I'll look for the quote Darnf 22:38, 08 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You'll not find the quote.GreatMizuti 05:44, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why would her status as a non-Ancient Ascended being have any effect on whether or not the other Ascended beings can stop/punish her from Ascending others? Their powers aren't solely reserved for others of their own species. JBK405 15:33, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Meridian Oma.jpg

[edit]

Image:Meridian Oma.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:17, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
