Question. As Multichannel retailing is about a variety of sales channels, how do I add Big-box store, Department store, General store, Mail order, Online shopping and Retail under Category? M2sbdav (talk) 07:22, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone clarify why omni channel retailing gets 2 sentences at the bottom of the multi channel retailing entry as opposed to having its own entry? Thanks. M2sbdav (talk) 16:17, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've been removing prospective information about retailing and keep finding this page is narrowed when the broader topic doesn't have a page. I'm going to move to Omnichannel so that editors can expand the concept where applicable. News Team Assemble!^[talk?] 16:29, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that narrowing down to specific industries or lines of business within an industry.

Future Development Challenges[edit]

Future development and delivery of Omni-Channel marketing efforts are focused on consumers in the USA--where cybersecurity & privacy rights are still developing. Other countries and blocks of countries such as the European Union (EU) have recently implemented far more strict privacy restrictions (example: GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation) which limits access to a consumer's data, transaction information, and self-identifiable information).

If or when the USA implements similar privacy protections for the general public, Omni-Channel Marketing will have to re-invent itself as it will be limited to consumer data.2605:A000:1006:45FC:9994:FE1C:41E7:549E (talk) 16:11, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
