Reception

[edit]

I am going to put my head above the parapet.

This phrase ends the section RECEPTION: ...The film has drawn plaudits from Martin Scorsese and Peter Bogdanovich, was the subject of a lengthy essay by Jean Eustache in Cahiers du Cinéma and was lavishly praised at the time by Andrei Tarkovsky and Satyajit Ray.

I am going to say that that is a load of rubbish. I very much hope that I am wrong, but I just can't see those film makers waxing lyrical about On The Buses. Alanobrien (talk) 16:54, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If no one has added citations to those critical ponderings I think they should be deleted. Alanobrien (talk) 07:31, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
