Two playwrights?

[edit]

If this is true, that there are 2 playwrights called Mary O'Malley, one Irish and one English of Irish background, we are having some difficulty distinguishing them on Wikipedia. The article on the Irish Mary lists "Once a Catholic" among her plays, and has an external link to a list of her plays which includes it. Can someone clarify or provide further relevant links? Both theatre artists have since been listed on the disambiguation page linked above. --GentlemanGhost (séance) 00:04, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV

[edit]

I have edited this article to change what appeared to be a blatant piece of publicity with a liberal use of unsubstantiated adjectives and superlatives. Wikipedia articles are not owned by the person or object of the article, or those closely associated with them/it, or acting on their/its behalf. They are not extentions of promotional or any other web sites, persons or organisations. An editor close to the subject of an article can initiate and build that article, but must at all times be aware of the possibility of slipping into personal opinion and hyperbole of their own, or of repeating that of others unless linked to an external published source for that opinion.
