"Onion grass" as lawn weed[edit]
In the USA, "onion grass" (two words) commonly refers to a particular lawn weed of the genus Allium. There is much confusion as to the proper botanical name of this plant; I believe it is Allium vineale but that article makes no reference to this common name.
