Undefined Terms

[edit]

The Domain terminology extraction section mentions a "C-value / NC-value method", but doesn't explain or link to anything. Could someone provide background on that? -- Showeropera (talk) 14:46, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Difficult paragraph

[edit]

The following paragraph was moved here from the article because it needs work. The passage is difficult to comprehend without already knowing the meaning of the specialized terms it includes:

The intentional aspects of domain are formalized by Ontology. Extensional part is commanded by the knowledge based on instances of concepts and relations on the basis of ontology. For instance, these approaches try to detect that "to eat" denotes a relation between a concept denoted by "animal" and a concept denoted by "food". Recently, a graph-based approach has been proposed which extracts a domain taxonomy - i.e., the backbone of an ontology - from scratch.[1]

Please help improve the readability of the above excerpt, so it can be put back into the article. Thank you. The Transhumanist 18:11, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I believe there are two articles that we can link to, because the "relation signatures" page does not exist. Either Signature (logic) or First-order logic. Lets discuss Akdulj (talk) 20:36, 14 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
