Tidy up

[edit]

I've tidied up this page, removing vandalism and deleting a pointless link to the Oceans of Fun theme park. (The acronym is not explained on that page, nor the company website, nor traceable online, and serves only to promote the company and goes against WP:DAB guidance.

I have also tried to enhance the link to what looks like a piece of minor public domain software, which doesn't, in my view, merit a link from here. But I've left it in for now, and would welcome feedback on the appropriateness (or otherwise) of its removal.

What remains a problem is the linking of 'Oof' to the Vacation page, and the expansion of the DAB page almost into a referenced stub to support that linking. This is contrary to WP:DAB guidance. Perhaps someone with an interest in this might care to edit the Vacation page to include Out of Office messaging, and remove the long explanation from this page. The word Oof is often used in a game called Roblox, this noise is made when the player gets killed. Kspisgone (talk) 14:57, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. L293D ( • ) 15:44, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Roblox

[edit]

Even though most users probably won't bother coming here before adding it again, I feel like it's been added enough times that there should just be a single spot for discussion. Contrary to what the two messages above seem to imply, please do not add sources for anything to this disambiguation page. If you feel that the meme is notable, first add information about it to the Roblox article with proper sourcing, and only then will an entry on this page be appropriate, with a link to that article. -- Fyrael (talk) 16:18, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
