Architectual criticism setcion[edit]

Now here's a section we must be able to fill. In my eyes this is the ugliest building built in Leeds since Quarry House in the late 1980s/early 1990s and perhaps the second ugliest altogether. The same sort of people who errected this monstrosity always bang on about the failure of brutalism, give me the International Baths over this any day. That and they demolished all my menmories of drinking in the Little Londoner (one of a select few places I held my memories of being 16/17) to build this carbuncle. I've not met anyone yet who likes it. Thus, I propose we create a criticism section, I shall endevour to find citations to prove that this is a really hated building (which will no doubt be blown up in ten years time). Disambiguate[edit]

Considering there is an Opal Tower in Dubai, would it not be helpful to associate the city name? Opal also has high rise student accommodation in many UK cities, some of which might be called towers. Chemical Engineer (talk) 17:33, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Since 2018 there is another Opal Tower existing in Sydney Olympic Park: http://www.opaltower.com.au 80.187.101.190 (talk) 23:57, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
