File:OpenEI Screenshot.png Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]

An image used in this article, File:OpenEI Screenshot.png, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 3 December 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

Looks like it got the rationale, so should be ok now.

Merge me

[edit]

Wind ENergy Data & Information (WENDI) Gateway is not the way we would normally title articles anyway (with the acronym in the middle?). That seemed to exist only for two years before the US government ran out of money. So it was suggested to be merged here, which sounds good. Might be more likely to survive a notability challenge then. W Nowicki (talk) 23:20, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: when I was researching OpenEI, I never saw a mention of Wind ENergy Data & Information (WENDI) Gateway. Best wishes. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 21:21, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@CLCStudent: Dear CLCStudent, I'm trying to resolve one of the issues noted at the top of the article like I've done multiple times in German Wikipedia.

Have you read, what I've done, or just automatically reverted?--Eatkarus (talk) 21:08, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

But you have to explain the deletions in your edit summary. CLCStudent (talk) 21:09, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@CLCStudent: Ok, sorry for that. Does it render my deletions now illegal or how can I repropose them?--Eatkarus (talk) 21:20, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I will allow you to keep those deletions that you already made. Please just explain any future deletions you make. Thank you. CLCStudent (talk) 21:21, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
