Talk:Openstack Appliance
Appearance
The contents of the Openstack Appliance page were merged into OpenStack on 15 August 2018 and it now redirects there. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see its history. |
Suggestion: This looks like the article might better be broken into two articles, one titled "OpenStack Appliances," the other "OpenStack Distributions."
This would simplify defining each term (i.e., an appliance is an opinionated distro with some added improvements, optionally running on a purpose-engineered hardware stack, whereas a distro is (usually) a less-opinionated, closer-to-trunk instantiation of community openstack, deployable on generic hardware).
The tables could then be broken out and updated accordingly.

- More likely this should just be deleted or merged. The table was a one-time snapshot that is out of date. Wikipedia is not a product guide. W Nowicki (talk) 21:36, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
