Brigade Group or Brigade group

[edit]

You may think this is very trivial however both spellings mean two completly different things. With the capital "G" it means a permanent unit, with the lower case "G" it means an ad-hoc formation. Now Playfair and others state that this was the 22nd Guards Brigade Group and 7th Armoured Brigade Group however we know this was a ad-hoc thing and once everything was sorted out on the border for example by Battleaxe they had reverted to there pervious roles i.e. 22nd Guards Brigade and 7th Armoured Brigade hence ive used the lowercase "G".

Again i know its very trivial but does this cause any problems for anyone?--EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 19:47, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Command and Staff College

[edit]

Out of intrest but what does the Command and Staff College based in India have to do with this operation?--EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 12:05, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No idea how that got in. Bizarre. Stephen Kirrage talk - contribs 12:44, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah yes. I was changing XIII Corps / Western Desert Force links after the split of the articles and must have thought I had the XIII Corps link saved in my clipboard and saved the page without checking. Rookie error. Sorry. Stephen Kirrage talk - contribs 12:52, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
