The phylogeny represented on this page apparently reflects 2012 publication of Benson et al. I understand that a 2016 publication of Brocklehurst et al undermines 2012 Benson et al analysis, with respect to placement of Ophiacodontidae and Varanopidae.

I do not have access to this Brocklehurst article. I invite someone who does to check it out and, if my information is correct, to amplify or modify this article to reflect Brocklehurst et al.Ray Glock-Grueneich (talk) 16:02, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
