The photon[edit]

The Photon: I put the branchlist template on this page because it is in the Electronics category and so seems to me to form a branch of Electronics. While it might seem odd that it has no branches of its own this is alright, and I see the value of the template as allowing folk looking through the field of electronics to quickly get here, and then back into the main subject. This page has 'long range' links to quantum physics, which is fine. I put Optoelectronic devices off the main Electronics page in alongside Passive devices and Active devices as their are a lot of devices and they seemed best grouped in that way. I don't claim to have finished the job though, and happily leave that to others. I just wanted to show a possible solution to the problem of fragmented big topics. -Lindosland 00:05, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your branchlist seems to be unmaintainable. Please don't test in live articles. --Wtshymanski 00:22, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed section[edit]

I must not have saved my comments here yesterday. Sorry about that.

I removed the section because I am wondering if this is not a round about way to advertise for the company to which this section was linked (in the text). It seems to me that this section needs additional references or citations from other third party reliable sources that support the content. Even published research results that reflect the content will do. I can't see having only one commercial entity, directly linked in one of the paragraphs as the only source. Please discuss: ---- Steve Quinn (talk) 05:33, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Quantum mechanical effects of light?[edit]

Reference 1 is a dead link.

In addition, I don't believe all aspects of studies and applications of optoelectronics involve quantum mechanical effects of light - on the contrary, many modern photonics engineering applications are based on classical electrodynamics, despite the word "photon" is used on a rather abusive frequency. For a reference, see http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF01135846 Das schtig (talk) 23:48, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

TAMPERING WITH DNA AND ECOSYSTEM[edit]

My voiced concern is that these people are computing other organisms, killing them, and even murdering humans. They already chose to communicate with the illegal systematics of octoelectronics so they can force anyone to change in instinct, character, and look. Most people that do this type of thing are really manslaughter's in the form of a human identity. 107.242.121.5 (talk) 18:51, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
