Purpose

The purpose of the Academy is to promote and advance the art and science of radiology in dentistry, and to provide a forum for communication among and professional advancement of its members. To that end the Academy conducts annual scientific meetings and other educational programs, sponsors a scientific journal, publishes a newsletter, issues position statements, and pursues additional activities consistent with the purpose of the Academy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Radinadas (talkcontribs) 05:36, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

USA CODA is an abbreviation for Commission on Dental Accreditation, not American Dental Assocation. Board-certified OMRs are diplomates of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (not the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.21.123.200 (talk) 20:10, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@209.21.123.200: Thanks for that. I have corrected this information. Did you know anyone is able to edit Wikipedia? Just click "edit" and then you can change the text just as in a word processor. Please feel free to work on this article more (looks like it could use some expansion), and you would be most welcome. Regards, Lesion (talk) 21:55, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
