There is alot more that can be said about Orchard Beach. There's alot of Culture associated with it and it's been a popular destination for beachgoers in New York for awhile. Somebody please contribute.69.119.204.184 (talk) 04:44, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes! A lot more can be said! Culture associated with Orchard Beach? What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Owing to its inferiority as a beach, Orchard Beach does not enjoy a good name.

Many old timers in the Bronx have affectionately called Orchard Beach, Horse-shit beach.

Hispanics in the Bronx also have a derogative for Orchard Beach: Chocha Beach.

This beach is hell.

Orchard is really dirt, i remember that once, i found a needle in the water. Someone could have been seriously hurt from it.

  • "destroyed two existing manors" How? Were they city-owned or eminent domained?
    • I think they were city-owned since the city bought all the land for Pelham Bay Park in 1887. epicgenius (talk) 14:45, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • " It comprises the Bronx's only beach" is an awkward sentence.
    • Fixed.
  • Source 5 is dead, also, no need to shout.
    • Fixed, and also decapitalized the rest of the sources.
  • Otherwise I'm not seeing anything amiss. Courcelles (talk) 05:53, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
