Can't end a sentence with ", etc."
Allegedly the ancient King of Persia would select six Magi ... - I'd make it more definitive that it was a story they told, so something like "They reported/recalled/claimed the ancient King of Persia would select six Magi....."
Why is "introduced" in quote marks?
What happens after 1877? Does the organisation die out/grow/what?
Sourcing seems a bit meagre. A cyclopedia is a tertiary source. Surely something more has been written?
Book sources need ISBNs
