Insonsistencies

[edit]

First the article mentions that at least two Germans got the award (von Neurath & von Ribbentrop) while the list farther down lists two more:

  1. Dr. Wilhelm Frick, Reichsminister
  2. Heinrich Himmler, Reichsführer

Please some expert, straight this out, jan --JanBarkmann (talk) 18:48, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have clarified that the German Foreign Minister and Protector of Bohemia and Moravia received a Special Degree that comprised the Grand Cross insignia. This explains why von Neurath, Ribbentrop and Frick are metioned.

I can find no evidence that Himmler received the Order and have removed his name. RGP --Helensq (talk) 21:43, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We've got a photo of Lindbergh's award over in commons. It got scrubbed from his article, but it might be of interest here. Rklawton (talk) 19:05, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
