As part of a group project, we plan to expand this stub into a more complete article. If anyone is still following its progress and would like to add their input, we are open to discussion and suggestions. Thanks. Kelemm24 (talk) 22:15, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

GREAT, we are at 20 sources. Before everyone starts just reading their own, we should organize who is doing what. Eric expressed an interest in competence among animals; the rest of us could easily section off information by developmental "stage". Because there are more of us than there are developmental stages, we could even use different proposed sets of stages. My immediate tendency is to use Erickson's stages, to minimize overlap, but we could also use a couple of others (Freud, Piaget, Vygotsky, etc.) Check the group page for links. I am also interested in examining O.N. competence during fetal development (see my comment) but I'll bet a dime to a dollar that the research is not there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shipau03 (talkcontribs) 19:21, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
