The section on water purification is vague and misleading. You talk about what plants are good at what depths, but very little about what they do to purify the water. Proposed move[edit]

This rather unsatisfactory article also has an unsatisfactory name. I propose to move it to Organisms involved in water purification to make it clear that it is both organisms actively used and those which are very much involved but which arrive with the waste stream or from the atmosphere or soil. I agree that the heading for this article is unsatisfactory. In fact, the whole field, including "ponding", "stabilization pond" and "phytopurification" and related entries, should be grouped under a single entry, "Phytosanitation", an environmentally friendly approach to clarifying and recycling waste water. The French languages uses "phytopurification" which is appropriate to water purification but might exclude other possible uses. Prichardsong (talk) 09:47, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

very strange and weird article, no chapter on bacteria/fungi?[edit]

Please feel free to add appropriate and well sourced text. Bacteria I would concur with and phages too as orgamisms contolling bacterial overgrowth.
