Armour[edit]

  • Belt armour is conventionally referred to as Vertical and Deck armour as Horizontal in Naval construction. The Dart (talk) 17:46, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • A far better description of the armour can be found in the article on HMS Monarch (1911)

Comments[edit]

  • No dab links checkY, no dead links Red XN, no copyvio checkY.
  • I would suggest removing the (RN) from "built for the Royal Navy (RN)", and then change the rest of the RNs to Royal Navy.
    • I don't think so.
  • "The Orions were deemed obsolete by the end of the war in 1918 and" Suggest changing to: "The Orions were deemed obsolete by the end of the war, in 1918, and"
    • The year's not really a subordinate clause there.
  • "A third dreadnought was added to the programme about April 1909" suggest changing about to around.
  • "On her way to the scrapyard, she ran aground, but was refloated and scrapped the following year." Is it known where she ran aground?
  • The supplement and Navy List links are dead.
    • They all check out fine for me using the check external links in the toolbox.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 17:29, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
When I try and open them from the article it gives me "ia700709.us.archive.org’s server DNS address could not be found." -- Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 19:38, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
They changed the links on me, but everything's updated.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 20:45, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
