There should be at least some mention that the word "augury" is the roman word for ornithomancy...

I tightened up and fleshed out this article a bit today. I included the Greek word and added a Biblical citation. This helps to widen the scope of the article, but more explicit references to ornithomancy should be collected. This article is in danger of being little more than a lame copy of the article on Augury, so constant vigilence is needed if the two are to remain differentiated. The quote referring to Joseph is inaccurate. Joseph does not claim to scare his brothers via ornithomancy. In Genesis 44: 1-5 he scares them by having his silver cup placed in their grain sacks. Divination is also referred to in verse 15. If this is to denote ornithomancy, that should be made clear, with an accompanying scripture reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by VentriloquistMime (talkcontribs) 19:31, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The previous comment about Joseph is accurate. No mention is made of his using birds to divine — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7D:A1D3:CC00:3D6E:D961:82AC:61CC (talk) 01:54, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
