I was watching a fight between Bonavena and Ali today. I'm sad to hear he was murdered 6 years after this fight. He did well against Ali but it would be hard to beat someone like Ali.

Yeah right, Bonavena was murdered in a place that actually exists -- like the "Philadelpha/Pittsburgh area," the "London/Manchester area," or the "Toronto/Montreal area." Bad smell and Brothel takeover attempt

In his book Frazier says Bonavena made sniffing noises around him. How could Bonavena and the former manageress possibly take over from the owner and his goons (who had terrorised the competing brothels out of business) that story is dubious at best, and pure BS at worst. Muddying of the waters by people facing a murder charge (some left the country) ought not to be presented as established fact. It's more likely that Bonavena had returned to get his girlfriend's clothes when he was shot as was said at the time.
