Family

[edit]

He belongs to a baronial family, created by Joachim Murat, King of Napoli. The family was made into the Barons of Catanzaro at the Congress of Vienna in 1815, and the family shared political rights with a branch of the Barbaro family of Venice, Italy who controlled silk production in Calabria by virtue of the title Barons dell'Albergo.
