Image copyright problem with Image:Hockney.clark-percy.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Hockney.clark-percy.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Lack of refs and inline citations[edit]

There are some weasel words in the intro, and plenty of questionable assertions that are not adequately referenced - like Clarke's mother being in labour for seven days. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.155.83.142 (talk) 12:20, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Everybody else seems to get a name check apart from Ossie's art teacher; the late Mr Roy Thomas. Roy was also involved in fashion, and was perhaps more of an early mentor rather than just a teacher. He was very enthusiastic about the 'real world' applications of art and design. 81.157.16.213 (talk) 19:26, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've added a brief mention of Roy Thomas, because I think that he deserves one. He is not notable in himself, but he was perhaps the only artistically-perceptive person in a rather 'industrial' school who was capable of recognising what the young Ossie potentially was, and set him on his way. Unfortunately the gentleman took his own life many years ago for reasons that I do not know. 5.81.72.139 (talk) 20:21, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Very complete and comprehensive coverage of subject's life but needs references. Pics and infobox would also help. Daniel Case 03:40, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
