Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Otto Wiener was the first to detect light waves (comparable to Heinrich Hertz's experiments on radio waves). Otto Wiener's experiment is still considered today, see e.g. here. — ale (talk) 14:58, 12 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
