Lilylolo's Feedback on Article:
[edit]I thought you did a great job on your article, and hit on every requirement on the 15-point checklist. I did not see any major changes that need to be made. Some minor suggestions include:
- (1) I'm not sure whether phrases like " service providers can rest easier" and "oddly parallel" are neutral statements or opinions (see checklist #6). Perhaps you could put it in a separate, "Significance" section at the end of the Article.
- (2) The sentence "Judges give a plaintiff in a proceeding without a lawyer the benefit of the doubt", should be in past tense, in accordance with the rest of the verb tense of your article.
- (3) For better flow/ transition, perhaps have a short sentence after "Judges give a plaintiff in a proceeding without a lawyer the benefit of the doubt,[10] but the plaintiff must still have a valid underlying cause of action." saying that the plaintiff in this case could not show a cause of action under the DMCA or the ADA.
- (4) In the "External Links" section, is the Magistrate's findings also available on Lexis?
