Question to the proposed deletion.
[edit]Hello! Thanks User:Balph_Eubank for your feedback on this article.
You have proposed the deletion of the OvenMediaEngine article, citing "Non-notable software" as one of the reasons. However, OvenMediaEngine is one of the most notable open-source streaming servers out there right now, and that's because it's listed on the OBS Wiki, has over 2,500 GitHub stars, and has over 500,000 Pulls on Docker.
Regarding the concern that "Sources all appear to be primary," I request you to understand this is open-source software. However, the article also references reputable secondary sources such as Streaming Media Magazine, OBS Wiki, SRT Alliance, Apple Dev Docs, and various Korean publications. Should I reduce the number of sources I cite from open-source repos, or would you like to see a wider variety of sources? Please let me know. I love all open-source! - I just edited the article to diversify my citations. Please feel free to give me feedback. I love all open-source! (talk) 15:15, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
