Until this single has enough verifiable information to construct a viable page, the best place for it is in its album's article. I moved over as much material as was appropriate. I left out what was original research per WP:NOR and removed a link that went to a blog/fansite per WP:EL. avs5221 (talk) 04:29, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger to Thank Me Later

[edit]

Proposing merger of Over (Drake song) to Thank Me Later, the album article, until Over (Drake song) has sufficient information to sustain an entire article. I will tag the song page for notability as it does not seem to currently meet criteria for WP:MUSIC. Please keep all discussion regarding a merger on this talk page.

It's debuted on Billboard's R&B chart, so WP:NSONG appears to have been satisfied. caknuck ° needs to be running more often 03:36, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Keep...

[edit]

This article has been confirmed by Drake himself, and has been released online, and sourced by sites such as Rap-Up. Keep, and if no more information comes soon, then delete. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.152.206.207 (talk) 00:32, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, same thing happened with Jay-Z's Run This Town song and 4 days later it debuts at 88. The YouTube video of this song has already garnered Half a million views in 3 days. No point in redirecting it if by thursday it will have charted already. Str8cash (talk) 17:43, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alright right off the bat i have a few concerns.

  • Background and Composition should be broken up, i believe there is enough stand alone information for them to have a seperate section.  Done
  • Chart Performance?? There needs to be a chart performance section.  Done
  • There is the use of aCharts, that needs to go and be replaced with proper certifying bodies.
Only one use of acharts and that is because the Official Charts Company does not archive past 40 positions.
Alright Thats Fine :). (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 19:20, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Dab Link, Please see here for how to correct.
Link says no Dab links. Candyo32 (talk) 18:50, 22 June 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Hah, basically thats all ive detected (im kinda half awake so i may find more later :) )

Wrong Dead Prez song!

[edit]

The Dead Prez song that Drake makes a reference to is "Hip-Hop", which is another song on their album Let's Get Free. The MTV article got it wrong. And that song is self-produced.

"Hip-Hop" is often confused with "It's Bigger Than Hip-Hop" because the chorus of the song is: It's bigger than hip hop, hip hop, hip hop, hip It's bigger than hip hop, hip hop, hip hop, hip hop —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.81.252.32 (talk) 12:53, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Correct. I changed accordingly. P. S. Burton (talk) 19:00, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
