Vandalism[edit]

I already created a page, Overbrook Senior High School. Why vandalize the Philadelphia school's page?

Fixed![edit]

Reverted back to the Philadelphia High School page. To anybody from the Pine Hill school, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE refer to the Overbrook Senior High School article. Leave this one alone.

I'm an alumna of OSHS, and I created the article to distinguish it from the OHS in Philly. --DodgerOfZion 00:17, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 10:28, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirming Blavat, other alumni[edit]

Perhaps Jerry Blavat may have attended Overbrook for a while, but so far there is no documentation for that of any kind, not even in Blavat's recent 2011 memoir, where he only refers to getting his "education from the street."Mwprods (talk) 23:07, 15 February 2013 (UTC) Similar non-confirm for probable alumni Bobb Goldsteinn, Marion Ramsey, Bill Bloom, Bill Cash.Mwprods (talk) 21:50, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Boundary map from 2012 (PDF, archived)[edit]

I found an archived PDF of the boundary of 2012 https://web.archive.org/web/20160304023900/https://webapps.philasd.org/sp_files/boundary_maps/4020.pdf WhisperToMe (talk) 21:59, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Paul Wallace[edit]

I deleted entry for my late uncle Paul "Hook" Wallace whom I loved, but also know well enough to realize there was never any documentation that he was ever a "professional" basketball player after his outstanding years at OHS in 1940s as an All-Public high school player. If he ever did play pro ball, it might possibly (?) have been occasionally on pseudo "teams" pitted against the Harlem Globetrotters. 70.107.78.39 (talk) 16:01, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
