Season-by-season results
[edit]Regarding changes to Owen Sound Greys; here is the precedent set forth for season-by-season results.
- All seasons should be in chronological order, regardless or team's nickname.
- Colour-coded backgrounds denote a change in the team name only.
- The league change is denoted in the standing column. For example, 5th League X, 7th League Y. etc.
- When possible, link the season to the article for that season.
- Bold first place finishes.
In summary, the results should be put back into chronological order, the backgrounds colour-coded, and a legend inserted at the top. Flibirigit 23:19, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- Jason, I know you've spent a long time working on that system... but I really think we should consider changing the colour coding to league changes, not nickname changes... teams outside of the CHL bounce from league to league like they are in a pinball machine... that's all. Franchise history
[edit]Regarding the changes to the franchise history inside Template:Hockey team; the precedent set forth is to keep everything in chronological order, even it means repeating "Owen Sound Greys" three times. Also, the dates are overlapping now. It would appear that more than one franchise existed at the same time. Flibirigit 03:38, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- I'll see about tweaking that. DMighton 04:42, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
