Robert Grimbald[edit]

I didn't link Robert Grimbald because there's not an article about him. But there could be. His father, just named as "Grimbald" was apparently listed in the Domesday Book and was the steward of Simon I de Senlis, Earl of Huntingdon-Northampton, whose family played into the royal family of Scotland. Robert apparently took over the steward position and lands and later became steward for Simon II de Senlis, Earl of Huntingdon-Northampton, the half-uncle of David I of Scotland, King of Scots. Robert was also steward for Simon II. This book has a ton of stuff about Robert (called Robert I) and his family and a Google and Google Books search on his name suggests that there's much more. Maybe I'll write one, but you're welcome to get there first. Regards, TransporterMan (TALK) 21:02, 10 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
