Sal acetosella[edit]

The article claims that "sal acetosella" is the old name for calcium oxalate. However other net sources say that "sal acetosella" is potassium hydrogen oxlate. Which is right? --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 16:00, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Which species is "sours"?[edit]

The article was not clear on whether the "Northest US name" sours refers to the acetosella or montana species. Does acetosella occurin the Americas too? If so, is it native or was it brought after 1500? (BTW it is a common weed here in Brazil too, and I would guess that there are two species, one twice as tall and wide as the other.)
