Random commentary[edit]

  • Where is the earnings figure in the infobox coming from?
  • What does 4x5x5 mean?
  • You use "Albany Times Union" and "Times Union" for the same publication - pick one and stick to it
  • If you want to be picky about formatting, you should check the consistency of wikilinking - most of the publication titles are wikilinked, but most of the ones added since FAC aren't. Nikkimaria (talk) 23:55, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think I've addressed the first three points but am unsure of the fourth. Should the publication title be wikilinked at every instance or first appearance? Froggerlaura ribbit 01:40, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Wish the doggone reflinks automatic whatever-it-is would be consistent with MOS. (Sigh). If we need to wikilink in every case or remove overlinking, we can. Either way, Nikki, let us know, or feel free to tweak it if that's faster. I have no opinion on this in either direction, I just want to nominate this to be TFA for the date next year's Preakness, so just want to be sure nothing could derail the eligibility for TFA. Montanabw(talk) 02:47, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thing is, it doesn't matter whether you wikilink every case or don't link at all (or only on first appearance), you just need to pick any of the above and apply it. That's why I left it - I wasn't sure which version you wanted to go with. I'm going to go with all linked for now, but feel free to do otherwise if you prefer. Nikkimaria (talk) 04:09, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm groovy with consistency and happy to leave things as you edited them. Not a moral issue in either direction, just a style tweak. Thanks for your help on that. Anything else we need to tweak? Montanabw(talk) 18:28, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Another random comment: what does "foaled" mean? The article which is linked doesn't include the word or explain it. If it means something other than "born", what else? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 19:20, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Foaled means to be born. Verb form of the noun foal. I can go over and tweak the other article to clear that up. Montanabw(talk) 19:36, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
