Taxobox

[edit]

Thank you for properly formatting the article. I am dubious about the taxonomical information - why would it be called a New Zealand Pea crab if it is found chiefly in the waters of the North Atlantic? You may have some information that I am unaware of. Paul Austin (talk) 19:23, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, my mistake! I have never used taxoboxes before, so I copied one from New Zealand pea crab, which is of the same genus, then changed the latin name- I missed the common name in the taxobox. I have also created redirects so that it links from Pinnotheridae, where it is listed. J Milburn (talk) 19:35, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - that's great! I really appreciate the help. I also noticed there is an article on Pea Crabs, to which a search on Oyster Crabs (notice the plural) redirects. It does not have the same genus and species that the article I reference does. I'll talk to those dudes and see if there is any conflict to resolve here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paustin (talkcontribs) 19:41, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the redirect, and according to Pinnotheridae, pea crab and oyster crab are of the same genus, but different species. J Milburn (talk) 19:46, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
