Půta II x Půta I[edit]

@HansM and Marcocapelle: In this article, two persons are mixed. Most of the article deals with Puta I. („The Oldest“) who died in 1397 and whose wife was a woman called Machna. His son, Puta II. (at first called the Younger, later the Older) married Anna of Oswiecin and died before 1403 (he is mentioned rarely). Puta III. (the Younger), known during the hussite wars, was in 1413 still young, so he cannot be the son of Puta the Oldest. See the genealogy: source - the same is in Hrady, zámky a tvrze v Čechách, na Moravě a ve Slezsku, 6: Východní Čechy. Praha: Svoboda, 1989. s. 611. . I have corrected it already on wikidata.

I would prefer to change the title of the article (in all languages) to Puta I.of Častolovice because we do not know much about Puta II. to create another article about him. Could somebody do it? Thanks.--Helena Dvořáková (talk) 10:42, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
