Among people who use almanacs and national statistics a lot, PCI stands for per-capita income, the nation's GDP divided by its population. LamaBillyBob

True, so I've added it. --Schzmo 20:39, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think the item should be merged. Who agrees? Dooly00000 (talk · contribs · count)
Not I. Wikipedia doesn't exist solely for those who use almanacs and GDP stats. --Aepoutre (talk) 18:17, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This page should be labeled disambigation 98.204.162.234 (talk) 17:38, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unregistered user, you are incorrect. See Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Disambiguation_pages. --Aepoutre (talk) 18:17, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PCI can also stand for Politicized Collective Identity in a psychological context. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.247.89.163 (talk) 19:00, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Other computer terms

[edit]

I guess, according to WP:PTM, it could be interpreted that PCI-X and PCI Express would not belong on this page. However, as common variants of the Conventional PCI computer technology, they are likely destinations for a user's search results. What method, if any, could be used to meet that need? — MrDolomite • Talk 21:44, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I don't believe there is such a need. A user who searches for PCI does not intend to reach PCI Express or PCI-X. These are worlds apart. You might, however, refer to MediaWiki search log. (But don't ask me how; I've only seen people using it as a reference in discussions.) Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 00:30, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Such partial matches may go in the see also. PCIe in particular is a likely confusion as a more modern and common replacement with more similar name, and while there we may as well disambiguate both.  Done Widefox; talk 21:13, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
