Although this technique utilises PCR, I don't think it's at all appropriate to merge the two topics. OE-PCR is all about introducing mutation or producing novel DNA sequences longer than 110 nucleotides, while PCR is about making copies of DNA sequences. --Username132 (talk), UK or Netherlands 14:58, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
