This Wikipedia entry is a total advertisement for the company and should be deleted. It was obviously written by a PC Club insider. The article is notable enough NOT to be deleted, and you should justify exactly why YOU think it should be deleted. I believe it should be corrected in-place since it serves as a good article stub. Merely deleting an article is cheating. Try to make some effort improving it, instead. Calm down and cut out the abusive talk, it doesn't speak highly of your sense of good judgment. My interest is to preserve Wikipedia's unbiased charter, and this article is clearly nothing more than a hot-air press release that dilutes the value of this website. For instance, it starts out with an 86-word direct quotation from its founder based on an uncited June 2002 interview. It later goes on in great detail about the founder's varied background, his religion, health, and even includes a quotation about his views on life in general ("Happiness, Love, Harmony, Cleanse, Execution.") All of this is inappropriate for inclusion in Wikipedia.

PC Club is a small business that has been poorly run for years and, with virtually no relevance whatsoever, has no status as an article in a so-called scholarly encyclopedia. If you believe PC Club should be included, it is up to you and/or others to provide the justification, Otherwise, it gets deleted. John (talk) 05:10, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Information was pertinent for me[edit]

I was an end user of this place unfortunately due to financial constraints we had not been there in a couple of years. As a result I did not understand why when trying to get information on my system I was not able to get through to the companies website. Now for reasons that are listed in this article I understand what happened. And although I still do not quite know where to turn for answers I am grateful to have found this information. Also from looking at some of the history of the article it appears it has been cleaned up quite a bit. As a somewhat new user of Wikipedia I am not completely familiar with the processes and am hoping that this article will not be readily trashed. There were a lot of customers of this company that may either have no idea what has happened or may use links that exist or may be added to get help with their systems. Jkaufman101 and his/her nazi-like control of this page must end.[edit]

I don't believe Jkaufman101 should have any authority to decide what he/she can/cannot delete from this page, since this person has had it in for this article since March 2008 by suggesting complete deletion of a notable, nationwide computer chain of at one time ~65 stores -- WITHOUT CAUSE. Now this person finds it necessary to meticulously delete content from the page over the course of the last year, including information about where everyone went after the bankruptcy (links to former employee's reincarnate businesses), and is trying to battle with me over this saying it's not "newsworthy". Who is he to decide this?

Companies go out of business all the time. Employees find other jobs. Exactly where is the news? Please state *specifics* as opposed to expressing your emotional reaction as a former employee, which in itself draws up questionable motives that seem unsuitable for Wikipedia. I have not been the only one who's suggested that you "take a step back" because of your obvious bias, so some introspection might be in order. This section will be submitted to the editors for review and permanent deletion if CelticWonder continues to insist on his -- and his former PC Club colleagues' -- shameless self-promotion.
