"knowledge gathered over the years as a collector" doesn't really work as a source, unless you publish your phone number and promise never to die. :-) WP:V depends on only using published sources that editors 20-30 years from now can refer to. Stan 15:30, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that line on its own does not work as a source, however it does continue "with reference to the following publications", followed by the titles of the main reference publications.

Differences and errors[edit]
