Weight Loss[edit]

There needs to be a section that talks about Pablo's weight loss for the 2011 season. Tinobaseball (talk) 17:10, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Text says he is 5' 11" and 290 lbs. Baseballreference has him at 240 and espn 242. Perhaps he was 290 and is now down to around 240? 86.41.8.141 (talk) 13:23, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Questioning the accuracy[edit]

Is he really a switch-thrower?-DANO- (talk) 03:42, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes - http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2009/03/07/SPKE16AK3G.DTL

Pablo is a switch thrower, but what would be the proper term for this? "Switch" or "ambidextrous"?

But he hasn't actually ever worn a left-handed glove in a major league game, has he? For this reason, he should be listed as throwing right-handed, with a note in the article about his ability to throw with either arm. Many players can likely hit to some extent from both sides of the plate, but if they don't do it in major league games, they're not listed as switch hitters. walkie (talk) 06:55, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Positions[edit]

He is the projected third baseman, so can we list him in the infielders?-DANO- (talk) 22:44, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Operation Panda video[edit]

If you guys really want to link to this video, maybe you can write up something short about Sandoval's 2010 training regimen. Also, please keep in mind that this video is copyrighted, so a link to the YT reposted version might not be appropriate (original is on mlb.com, at http://sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?content_id=7132677&c_id=sf). 69.181.227.133 (talk) 21:30, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good on first glance. Looking forward to reviewing this.  ΤheQ Editor  Talk? 15:13, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I have been too busy to work on new articles lately, but I will have plenty of time to polish this one up. Sanfranciscogiants17 (talk) 21:10, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Sanfranciscogiants17: Apparently, the link to Kung Fu Panda was already removed when I was reviewing it, so you didn't need to add it. I removed it again, unless there were reasons why he was nicknamed Kung Fu Panda. Thanks,  ΤheQ Editor  Talk? 13:46, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

IMPORTANT - Please refer to this permanent link when talking about references.

  • Lead barely has any info on Early Life and Personal Life.
  • no need to link to Kung Fu Panda
  • The caption for the infobox picture needs a period.
  • "but he did not show up for two weeks" sounds like the scout came after two weeks. how about dropping the "for two weeks"?
  • the caption for the picture needs a period.
  • the third paragraph of 2009 is too short per GA requirements, perhaps merging it into another paragraph.
  • in May Sandoval - punctuation
  • months after - specify
  • File:Pablo Sandoval, 2012 World Series parade.jpg needs a period

2021 World Series[edit]

he was awarded a 2021 Braves World Series ring therefore he is a 4 time world champion regardless of being on the World Series roster. 2601:640:8A00:8460:D93E:D255:BB0B:2F4C (talk) 19:38, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As the note that you have been repeatedly deleting said, it is WP:BASEBALL's consensus to not include it for every person who appears in a game for the team, but for the players who were on the roster. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:42, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
