Overemphasis on Sports

[edit]

All the sports should be placed in a small paragraph, and academics should receive the same. Exact win amounts and dates are not notable enough to be here and can be found by going to the school sites. This needs to be changed drastically. Sounds like it was written by a sporting student. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.68.234.133 (talk) 14:38, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've toned it down. The glowing compliments are un-necessary. ResMar 03:02, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable alumni

[edit]

The persons listed below may have attended Paducah Tilghman. If you can find reliable sources that definitively verify their attendance, please add them to the list in the article. You can add more names to this list, but please keep it just to those persons with associated Wikipedia articles (no un-linked, red-linked, or externally-linked names). Strike them out or remove them from this list if you find definitive proof they did or did not attend this school. –Archer1234 (talk) 16:09, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Several references point out that J. D. Grey is from Paducah, but are not explicit about his attendance at this high school. Because his attendance would have been so long ago it may be difficult to find anything online that shows it. Perhaps someone with access to a library in or near Paducah could look for yearbooks that might show his attendance. –Archer1234 (talk) 16:09, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
