Paharganj is a hot tourist spot in the midst of the city of New Delhi. Strategically placed near New Delhi Railway Station and Metro Railway Station, it attracts masses in huge number. One of the most popular markets in Paharganj is the street of Main Bazaar which is the abode of sweatmeat shops, hotels and export shops that deal in natural perfumes, essential oils, cosmetics, incense sticks, handicrafts, made-ups, bed spreads, and various other goods. It is also a perfect place to find cheap and economical hotels. One of the oldest and largest shops in Paharganj is the 'R-Expo House', not only a grandiose structure adjacent to old mosque, but also a perfect blend of Indian Traditions and Customs with superior and exquisite quality work, established in 1932. Apart from 'R-Expo House', there are several mosques and temples in the streets of Paharganj. Paharganj is definitely one of the attractions of the old walled city of Delhi.
