Merge proposal for Paid To Click and Paid to surf

They seem to be discussing basically the same thing. Though Paid to surf currently focusses more on the original late-90s wave of such schemes (i.e. historical) and Paid To Click more on the present day, that's just the way they were written.

"Paid to surf" pretty much asserts this itself in its first sentence:-

Pay to surf or Paid-to-click is a business model that became popular in the late 1990s

i.e. same name (and subject matter) as other article. I'd say they should be merged. Ubcule (talk) 15:07, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Speaking as someone who works in the industry here, they're actually not even close to the same thing. Paid to surf is just basically a "we pay you to have ads running". Paid to click pays you for clicking specific things. (71.52.104.168 (talk) 05:17, 25 February 2010 (UTC))
VETO - The proposed articles are two completely different concepts. Merging the two would confuse the online community. Don4of4 (talk) 02:01, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
