It is unjudgmentally humiliating, as an alumnus of Paine College, to learn of its accreditation Warning and even more disheartening to realize that the Warning will be extended for another year. Very firm moral support goes to those whose concerted efforts are being directed towards resolving these issues, resulting in having the dignity and respect restored which Paine College deserves. As a matter of record, I respectfully request a posting of the academic/accreditation status of Paine College since its inception, or more specifically, during the 1960-1975 era. Though categorized among small HBCUs,it was, then, characterized by criteria-oriented/strongly principled administrations and high academic & moral standards. To clarify that there has been no misguided impression here, someone please respond. Meanwhile, we applaud those working so diligently to remove this newly-developed stigma.
