[edit]

Okay so this article is admittedly not in great shape. I'm on a business trip right now and wrote what's here on a bumpy plane ride. Still, I figure some article is better than no article. I'll probably have the next bit written and loaded in during the next few days, but I'm so sleep-deprived and jet-lagged that it needs eyes for grammar and style. Thanks. Why are some of the dates 1921 for an event that took place in 1912? I'm guessing transposition of numbers, so I'm making changes to the dates. Jtyroler (talk) 23:59, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It appears that recent revisions to the bottom section of the article lifted a great deal of text verbatim from this site. I've reverted the page to an earlier version. If I did so in error, just drop a note her and feel free to change it back. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cool3 (talkcontribs) 02:00, 8 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

page renamed

[edit]

I renamed this page from West Virginia Mine War of 1912–1913 to Paint Creek-Cabin Creek strike of 1912 for the sake of being clear and specific. Online sources and references within wikipedia variously refer to "West Virginia Mine Wars" as including this 1912 strike, the 1920 Battle of Matewan, the 1920 Battle of Blair Mountain and/or the 1921 Battle of the Tug (not yet documented here). --Lockley (talk) 19:41, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
