Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon

[edit]

This article was created for Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Events/Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon. --Prof TPMS (talk) 01:04, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The measurements in the nutrition section are unclear. Also whether you are talking about uncooked or cooked rice. Hopefully there are NOT 160 calories in 1/4c of rice (where a cup is 8 fluid ounces = 16 Tablespoons). Plus - is that cooked or uncooked rice? If uncooked - how much cooked rice does that usually equate to? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.94.196.32 (talk) 18:16, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merger discussion

[edit]

Clearly needs merging with duplicate article Matta rice, which specifically says it is known as "Palakkadan Matta rice". Latter article contains more in-depth info.
