Basic factors in United States-Palestinian relations[edit]

The entire section is POV. There is no citation, and the positions are subjective to say the least. American perceptions in the wake of 9/11 make it easy for Israelis to depict the Palestinian "movements" as terrorists? It could not have anything to do with the fact that the groups in question carry out attacks on civilians, employ terrorist tactics and organizational structures, and express the stated goal of the extermination of the Jewish people...it's just because the Americans are ill-informed. That is not just POV, it's hogwash. If the article cannot portray a balanced view, it should be removed from the site.--King ravana (talk) 23:38, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Introductory and "Basic factors in United States-Palestinian relations" Sections.[edit]

Most of the content in these sections appear to provide a less than factual perspective; at the very least some sort of reference is needed - although I still don't know if that would even bring them up to standard.

Obviously the introductory section can't be scrapped, but I think the article's quality would be substantially improved by the deletion of the ""Basic factors in United States-Palestinian relations" section in its entirety.

Line looks like it should have reference[edit]

I was reading through the article when I found this line: "President Bush refrained from meeting Arafat, and refrained from referring to him as "President Arafat", as Palestinian officials insisted, but only as "Chairman Arafat"." Listing the PLO Office in Washington DC and the US Palestinian Affairs in Jerusalem?[edit]

Most other Wikipedia pages regarding relations between state tend to list each other's embassies toward each other as well as the country's ambassadors, or at the very least (or at least the closest equivalent such as in cases where countries have non-traditional representation, such as the Republic of China/Taiwan). It should be at least considered to list the PLO Office in Washington DC and the US Palestinian Affairs in Jerusalem in a similar manner. JadeEditor (talk) 00:30, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
