Pandan Wangi - Indonesian or Malaysian[edit]

In this article, "pandan wangi" is considered an Indonesian word, while in the pandanus article, "pandan wangi" is considered a Malay word. Which one is the correct one? I would suggest "pandan wangi" is a Malaysian word, as I never heard the term pandan wangi for a pandan in Indonesia? pandan means pandan, wangi means aromatic. --Rochelimit (talk) 12:37, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In Malaysia, it's rarely called pandan wangi also. Most people simply call it pandan, as it is the most widely used pandanus species. The term pandan wangi is only used to differentiate it from other pandanus species, e.g. the pandan leaves for weaving.

How did you know its a weak source?[edit]

Could you tell me the trick to find weak source so that i dont waste my time editing wikipedia.

It has reference https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.jnatprod.5b00252 where it tells ethanolic extract yielded those compounds.

Also this article https://www.researchgate.net/publication/282876849_Alkaloids_from_Pandanus_amaryllifolius_Isolation_and_Their_Plausible_Biosynthetic_Formation even references the upper article for the content. I didnt know it was weak soure user:Zefr
